MARION — It wasn’t the best of starts for the Massac County Patriots volleyball team, but once it got rolling, it was tough to derail, sweeping a match on the road at Marion Tuesday, 25-17, 25-11.

“Coming into Marion... it’s a great environment, a great program, a lot of tradition here... you know you’re going to get a great game from them,” said Massac County head coach Zach Miller. “I thought their serve/receive was so strong in that first set.
