SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The ArkLaTex saw mostly dry conditions throughout today with below-average temperatures across the region for highs. Through tonight, the weather should remain quiet with mostly clear skies. Starting off Thursday, quiet weather remains, but also, warmer conditions usher in from the southwest, bringing in more humidity and rising air for the storms that are expected through the afternoon.
A low-pressure system will move in from the west into our northernmost counties first by mid-afternoon on Thursday. It brings storms that could turn severe at times as it makes its way through the northern half of the region. These storms should last through Thursday night and leave by midday on Friday.
