A Queens mother is gearing up to send her 12-year-old daughter back to school, but says her biggest worry these days is any possible interaction with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

“My personal fear is that if I can’t pick her up from school, what will be her daily life without one of her parents?” said Ciria, who asked NY1 not to use her last name out of security concerns.
