The overhaul of White Stadium is taking shape in Boston's Franklin Park.

Trucks and tractors are shuttling dirt and dust out of the construction site, leaving just the facade and mixed feelings in their wake.

"We have to do this in a matter in which we're being fiscally responsible," said At-Large Boston City Councilor Julia Mejia.

Mayor Michelle Wu's administration is moving ahead with a $200 million refurbishment plan, which splits the cost with Boston Unity Soccer Partners, allowing Boston Legacy FC to share the facility with Boston Public Schools.
