As we head into the final days of August, our attention is now turning towards the start of Meteorological Fall. Within the past week, the Climate Prediction Center released its seasonal outlook, which is giving us an idea of what we could expect for the weather in KELOLAND from September through November.
For temperatures, KELOLAND is leaning towards a slightly warmer-than-average fall. So while we may get a few stretches of mild days, the strongest signal for above-normal temperatures is in the southwestern United States and along parts of the coasts.
