CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A Cedar Rapids man pled guilty to conspiring to distribute methamphetamine on Wednesday.
63-year-old Cleveland Stephens pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine in federal court on Wednesday.
Police say he confessed to making plans with someone else to distribute over 500 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine between August 2022 and June 2024.
He also admitted to conspiring to distribute over 50 grams of pure methamphetamine.
He faces a mandatory sentence of at least ten years, with a possible maximum sentence of life in prison, a $250,000 fine, and a lifetime term of supervised release following any prison time.
