NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Cabot is the church home for 19-year-old Matthew. It is there that he thanks God for the strength to fight.

"I'm a warrior. I went through so much," Matthew said.

On March 1, Matthew went to the hospital for what was thought to be a complication with his gallbladder. Those complications were quickly recognized as symptoms of congestive heart failure.

A couple of days later, Matthew lay lifeless for four minutes and 40 seconds.

Matthew was placed on life support, then a medically induced coma.

Throughout this process, Officer Tommy Norman would visit Matthew, a young man he had never met.

"How many people can say they died for four minutes and 40 seconds, and can sit here and talk about it," said Norman to Matthew.
