A handful of months after the release of his long-awaited, third "official" record, Music, Playboi Carti is making good on his long-gestating plans for the Antagonist Tour.

As Pitchfork notes, the Antagonist Tour was initially announced in 2023 before being postponed to 2024 and later postponed indefinitely. Now, the tour is on, including an Oct. 23 stop at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. (It'll be called Grand Casino Arena by the time the performance arrives.)

Though the postponements don't mean that Playboi Carti has been static. The critically lauded Atlanta rapper hasn't been on a headlining tour since 2021, when he hit the road in support of his No. 1 album Whole Lotta Red. He did, however, hit the stage at U.S. Bank Stadium earlier this year in an opening slot for The Weeknd.
