Man shot dead on south side of San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO — A man is now dead after being shot in the chest on the south side Wednesday night, police say.

Around 6:30 p.m., SAPD was called to the 2400 block of SW Military Drive.

When they arrived, they found a man in his 30s shot in the chest. He has since died, according to officials.

Witnesses told police that the suspects were a man and a woman who left the scene. It's unclear if this was a targeted attack.
