The Yukon Development Corporation’s director of First Nation partnerships on the proposed electrical grid connect project to tie the Yukon into the North American grid via British Columbia has announced her bid to be a member of the Yukon Legislative Assembly with the Liberals.
Cynthia James is starting the process to become the official Yukon Liberal Party candidate for the Southern Lakes electoral district, according to a press release.
She is the first person to put their name forward from any of the three territorial parties with seats in the House to potentially run for MLA of the recently redrawn riding.
