In an act of faith and hope, the Diocese of Maturín and the government of Monagas, along with authorities and officers of the Monagas State Police Corps (CPEM), received a replica of the image of the Virgin of the Valley.

The Secretary of Prevention and Citizen Security and director of PoliMonagas, Colonel (FANB) Eduardo Almérida Padrón indicated that, in an alley of honor, the image toured the General Command of the security agency, located on Bellavista Avenue in Maturín, and arrived at the "Our Lady of Carmen" chapel, where a mass was celebrated.

"We proudly welcome our Virgin of the Valley, patron saint of the East. Peace, love, solidarity, and faith for our people," said Almérida Padrón.
