Highway 17 is closed in both directions at Highway 69 north of McFarlane Lake due to a fatal, two-vehicle collision involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer.

OPP officers said on X that the crash occurred on Wednesday evening. They are asking people to avoid the area and plan alternate routes while the investigation continues.
