A driver who died Saturday in Stow after his car hit a tree and rolled over has been identified as 19-year-old Maynard resident Lazaro Abraham Sousa Swartz, according to police.

On Aug. 23, police and firefighters were called to 70 Crescent St. shortly before 4 a.m. for a report of a single-car crash, Stow police said previously. At the scene, they found a Lexus ES fully engulfed in flames. Swartz was declared dead at the scene.

The preliminary investigation into the crash indicated that the Lexus hit a tree outside a home on Crescent Street before rolling over and catching fire, police said. No other cars were involved.

Swartz was born in Framingham on June 22, 2006, to Maynard residents Kevin and Raquel Swartz, according to his obituary . He graduated from Maynard High School in 2
