NORTON — Megan Khang has one goal in mind for the FM Championship .

“Hopefully play better,” Khang told MassLive at TPC Boston.

The Rockland native and FM ambassador will play in the second annual FM Championship. She finished 35th last year.

“I think the first season was the scariest. You never know what to expect,” Khang said.

Khang still resides in Massachusetts and is able to stay at home during the course of the tournament. She doesn’t necessarily consider it an advantage, but rather a comfort because there’s a sense of normalcy to her routine.

Even though it’s comfortable to be in a familiar area during such a big tournament, that doesn’t mean it comes without pressure.
