ST. CHARLES PARISH, La. — The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office says there is an increased police presence in the 300 block of Trailsway Drive in Hahnville as deputies search for a suspect.

Deputies have set up a perimeter in a field between LA 3160 and Trailsway Drive. Officials say the search includes the use of a drone and a K-9 unit.

At this time, deputies have not released details about the suspect or what led to the search.
