Home partially collapses after car crashes into it in Smyrna

SMYRNA, Tenn. (WSMV) - A home partially collapsed after a car crashed into it, according to the Smyrna Fire Department.

The crash happened around 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday in the 400 block of Churchill Court.

When crews arrived, they found a car “substantially” inside the home with a partial collapse of the structure.

Firefighters evaluated the home and the vehicle and found that no one had been injured.

The Smyrna Fire Department said Smyrna building officials are en route to ensure the home’s structural stability.
