LAKE MILLS, Wis. (WMTV) - A single mother in Lake Mills is in desperate need of a life-saving kidney transplant and she’s hoping someone out there is a match.
Lexi Christ, 30, has two beautiful daughters, 8-year-old Daisy and 6-year-old Rosie.
“Truly they are my world, they are my best friends, they are everything,” said Christ.
All three were born deaf and rely on sign language to communicate. Navigating the world as a deaf family isn’t easy, but recently, Lexi was diagnosed with a new health challenge that has left her fighting for her life.
“Right now, I have polycystic kidney disease and so my kidneys are deteriorating. They are getting worse and they are about to fail completely,” said Christ, using a sign language interpreter. “So, I’m not doing very well, I am tired quite often,
