BUFFALO, N.Y. — Supporters of King Center Charter School Principal Antionette Radford celebrated Wednesday after a state Supreme Court judge ruled that Radford and three other top administrators must be reinstated, at least until the school's Board of Trustees can justify their June firings.
“I am grateful for the judge and his decision to see what we already saw, and I’m just excited,” Radford said outside the school.
Radford’s reinstatement follows a contentious summer in which she, the assistant principal, the dean of students, and the director of curriculum were removed.
“Who was leading the school all this time, instructionally? It is just sad that this is a school of 25 years and this is the way we conduct business. We are better than that,” Radford said.
