Geddes, N.Y. — The New York State Fair saw more than 60,000 people walk through its gates on Day 8, which featured Women’s Day and sensory-friendly hours until 1 p.m.

There were exactly 60,614 fairgoers on Wednesday, according to fair officials.

Later in the day, people packed Chevy Court for a lineup that included the Fleetwood Mac tribute band Tusk and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers. At Suburban Park, about 5,000 people gathered to hear country star Carly Pearce perform.

Attendance at the 2025 fair has reached 491,624.

On Day 9, the fair will honor service members on Armed Forces Day, offering free admission for active duty and veterans with military ID. At 11 a.m.
