CASS COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) - One person was injured in a two-vehicle car crash on Wednesday morning in Silver Creek Township.

The crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. on Dixon Street near Indian Lake Road, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

According to investigators, a 66-year-old Dowagiac man was driving east on Dixon Street when he turned towards Silver Creek Township Hall and failed to yield to oncoming traffic.

His vehicle was hit by a 27-year-old Hartford woman who was driving in the westbound lane.

The Dowagiac man’s passenger, a 64-year-old Dowagiac woman, was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries.
