FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - After breaking a record due to the chilly start yesterday, we’ll be a bit milder this morning as more clouds and a few showers roll in.

Our next cold front approaches from the north, pushing in a few scattered showers today. While some rain is expected in the region, the rain is not expected to be long-lasting. Skies stay partly to mostly cloudy today, but we’ll clear out a bit more by sunset. Highs make it into the low to mid 70s for Thursday.

We’ll gradually see more sunshine into the holiday weekend. It looks sunny and beautiful for outdoor activities during the long weekend. Highs will start out in the mid 70s on Saturday, but we’ll slowly climb up to 80 by Monday.
