(Gray News) - The Powerball jackpot reached $950 million after no one matched all six numbers drawn Wednesday night. It is the sixth largest prize in the lottery’s history.

Any player who wins the $950 million jackpot will have the choice of receiving the full prize amount in 29 annual payments or a lump sum payment estimated at $428.9 million.

Saturday’s drawing will be the 39th since the jackpot was last won May 31 in California, according to Powerball. The $950 million is the biggest advertised jackpot in more than a year.
