PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Today, Providence will begin paying their final respects to the world’s nicest judge as the funeral for the beloved Judge Frank Caprio begins.

Public visitation hours for Judge Caprio’s memorial service will be at the Rhode Island Convention Center Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m.

Judge Caprio’s funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Providence.

We’ve learned the funeral procession will have a large number of honorary pallbearers, that include local politicians and notable figures like Johnston Mayor Joseph Polisena, Jr. and former Newport Mayor Xaykham Rexford Khamsyvoravong, former PC basketball players Ernie Digregorio and Kevin Statcom and even Paula Abdul.
