The report left after Hurricane Katrina by California Interagency Incident Management Team 3 (CIIMT3) is an eclectic mix of candid photos, startling statistics, action reports, personal accounts of assistance and cooperation by agencies and responders from all over the country, and even a fireman’s poem about Katrina through the eyes of a beagle that was swept away by the storm.

It could conceivably be called a labor of love by a team of heroes with front-row seats to nature’s worst punishment.

This legacy report was written by CIIMT3, a Type 1 National Incident Management Team, after Katrina at Stennis. The Incident Commander, Jeanne Pincha-Tulley, was the first female IC to lead a Type 1 Team.
