A pop-up healthcare clinic is returning to Erie next month to offer services to the community free of charge.
The Remote Area Medical clinic is returning for a second year and will provide free dental, vision and medical services.
The pop-up clinic addresses the issue of much of the U.S. population being uninsured or under-insured due to geographic or economic barriers.
Last year, the clinic served over 300 people.
Charles "Boo" Hagerty, president of Hamot Health Foundation, said the most important aspect is to develop trusted access to healthcare.
"I think one of the things about this pop-up clinic that is so unique is no ID is required, they do not have to give identification, it is -- if they need to be served, we're going to serve them," said Hagerty.
