A vacant home on Erie's east side catches fire early Thursday morning.
Calls for the fire going out just after 2:30 in the 300 block of East 7th Street.
According to Erie Fire Department Deputy Chief Fred Gillespie, no one was found inside of the home and there were no injuries to mention.
Gillespie also mentioned that there was another call for a fire at this vacant home around a month ago.
A majority of heavy flames came from the second floor causing damage to the siding of the homes next door.
Fire investigators are on the scene looking into an official cause.
