Lawmakers challenge each other every day, but on Wednesday, both Democrats and Republicans were challenging each other for a good cause.

Wednesday was the 10th annual Legislative Challenge at the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Teams representing U.S. Senator John Fetterman, State Senator Dan Laughlin, State Representative Pat Harkins and State Senator Bob Merski took part to see who could pack the most cans of peas in 45 minutes.

Senator Laughlin and Representative Harkins were both at the event, helping their staff work as quickly as they could.

Senator Dan Laughlin, Senate District 49, said, "Look, we have a ton of people in Erie County that are food insecure, families, children, things like that. The reason we do the Legislative Challenge is to try and raise awareness. That's mostly what
