DAPHNE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Daphne Fire Department official captured a horse after it got loose in the Lake Forest neighborhood.
According to a DFD Facebook post, the horse was wandering through the neighborhood, and Battalion Chief Lamar Green lassoed it before returning it to the owner.
The horse was described as "calm, docile," in the post.
Officials said the horse is safe.
"Chief Green has always dreamed of being a cowboy, well this past Saturday that dream came true," the post said.
"Just another day in the life of a Fire Battalion Chief/Cowboy," it said.
