ROCHETSER, N.Y. (WROC) — 73-year-old Thomas Soward was officially considered missing on August 14 after being gone for over 24 hours from the DePaul Home.

Police are now seeking the public's help in locating Thomas (pictured below).

A counselor reported Soward missing from the facility on Main Street in East Rochester on August 14, after he had left the facility voluntarily on August 13 at 8 a.m.

Since Soward had a history of leaving the facility for over 24 hours in the past, the East Rochester Police Department is only now asking the public for help in locating the 73-year-old.

They predict that he may be attempting to travel to Brockport, New York, as he has family ties to the area.
