The transformation of kokanee salmon from silver to bright red in September and early October is a favorite viewing experience for many who love the beauty of nature. The Division of Wildlife Resources offers several viewing and educational opportunities in the fall focused on kokanee salmon. Strawberry Reservoir is a great spot to view these brilliant fish.
