In Cape Coral, Florida, Kyle Myvett became an unexpected hero when he detained a burglary suspect while wearing Batman pajamas early Wednesday (August 27) morning. Myvett was alerted by his home security system to a break-in at his vehicle and, without changing out of his pajamas, went outside to investigate.
According to the Cape Coral Police Department, Myvett found 20-year-old Justin Schimpl rummaging through his truck. Myvett then followed Schimpl into his neighbor's garage, where he detained him until police arrived. Myvett told police, "I grabbed a hold of their shirt and their right wrist, and I said, ‘Listen, don’t try to get away.’"
