CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is under scrutiny after a recent audit revealed failures in monitoring sports betting advertisements, raising concerns about protections against gambling addiction.

The state auditor's report highlighted that the commission did not adequately oversee sports betting advertisements before they were released to the public, which is a violation of state regulations.
