Patrick Bamford admits he feels raw at leaving Premier League new boys Leeds United . Last night the Whites confirmed that the striker's time at the club had come to an end by mutual consent.
The 31-year-old was part of two promotion-winning campaigns for United, hitting 17 goals during the club's first stint back in the top flight under Marcelo Bielsa in 2020. He won his solitary England cap the following year.
But Bamford's Whites career was stalled by injuries and he slipped down in the pecking order for a striking berth under Daniel Farke. After the squad returned for pre-season training this summer, Farke told Bamford that he was not part of his plans ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
A Daily Mail report suggests Bamford was made to train away from the first team. He departed th
