Illegal immigrants caught manning a £192,000 cannabis farm after secretly slipping into the UK have been locked up.

Cousins Jetmir Muka and Sifjon Sheti now face deportation after they were busted inside the Midlands drugs den.

Police were called out to reports of a burglary but instead stumbled across an abandoned building with a 'live CCTV' camera.

Officers also heard a 'loud humming' coming from inside and realised they had found a cannabis factory.

Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard how police were called to reports of two men attempting to break into a garage in The Strand, Longton, on May 25.

They searched the area but did not find any suspects, StokeonTrentLive reports.
