SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Good morning everyone. StormTeam 3 Meteorologist Alysa Carsley here, let's have a fabulous Friday & holiday weekend!

Our Friday morning started with light rain showers scattered across the area. We continue to dry out with a mostly cloudy sky through the next few hours. Only an isolated shower is possible this afternoon. Highs remain comfortable in the mid 80s.

For the holiday weekend, we will be tracking a system across the Gulf Coast states that will bring in waves of moisture through Labor Day on Monday. As it sits closest to us Saturday, rain and storms will be likely throughout the afternoon and evening. Rain will be heavy at times with a low risk of localized street flooding.
