ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Albany detectives are investigating two separate stabbings that took place on Thursday night. Police stated that an Albany man is custody in connection to one of the incidents.
On August 28 around 6:20 p.m., police responding to a report of an assault near 911 Central Avenue found a 24-year-old man with stab wounds to the forearm and shoulder. The man was tended to at the scene by emergency responders before being taken to Albany Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives learned that the suspect, who fled the area before police arrived, was involved in an argument with the victim prior to the alleged stabbing. Anyone with information regarding the ongoing investigation is asked to contact Albany Police by calling (518)462-8039.
