HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A second arrest has been made in an animal cruelty and child endangerment case in Hoosick Falls. According to the Hoosick Falls Police Department, Joseph Pulaski faces multiple charges.

On Monday, the Hoosick Falls Police Department received a report of possible animal cruelty. A preliminary investigation determined five dogs were found in distress, allegedly living in hazardous conditions.

Officers said the animals were malnourished, did not have food, water or proper shelter and were found in unsanitary conditions. As officers continued to assess the home where the dogs were, they determined the children in the home were living in the same conditions.

According to the police, the dogs were not receiving medical care for their health issues.
