SPIRIT LAKE, Iowa ( KUOO ) - The Spirit Lake Youth Athletics Association reached its fundraising goal to renovate the city’s Little League fields.

The Spirit Lake Noon Kiwanis Foundation donated $75,000 to the “Triple Play” renovation project. The project’s total cost was $450,000.

The athletics association is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit entity that operates the Spirit Lake Little League. Officials say the donation from the Spirit Lake Noon Kiwanis Foundation will allow it to complete its fundraising goal and remove the remaining debt associated with the project.
