GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Students and ECU fans alike lined up before sunrise Friday outside the University Book Exchange for the first-ever East Carolina University x Lululemon collection.

By 5 a.m., dozens were camped out along Cotanche Street, hoping to snag limited-edition gear in Pirate purple and gold.

To kick off the launch, “Golden Ticket” members were given first access to the store at 8 a.m. Doors opened to the public an hour later at 9 a.m.

The collection is part of Lululemon’s campus program, which partners with select universities nationwide. Schools such as Alabama, Tennessee and Ohio State already carry the officially licensed gear. ECU joined that list Friday with its own branded Define jackets, Scuba hoodies, Align tanks and other popular styles.
