KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- On Friday, August 29, Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe announced that he's calling a special session on congressional redistricting and initiative petition reform.
According to a release from the governor's office, Gov. Kehoe is calling the session to "enact legislation establishing updated congressional districts for the State of Missouri and amending the state's initiative petition process." The session will take place on Wednesday, September 3 at noon in Jefferson City.
Additionally, Gov. Kehoe and his team created the "Missouri First Map," which Gov. Kehoe says is "more compact and contiguous."
