ROSWELL, N.M. —
Roswell Police are looking for help in identifying a suspect in the death of a 31-year-old man.
Police responded to the area of North Sherman Avenue and 23rd Street around 6:50 a.m. on Monday morning after multiple gunshots were heard. After the shooting, the victim went to a residence on the 2300 block of North Sherman to ask for help and was then driven to the hospital by the people at the residence.
The victim, who has now been identified as Darrin Estephen Johnson, was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Through investigation, officers found that Johnson was allegedly involved in a domestic altercation early Monday morning when his girlfriend called her friends for help. Boykin is believed to have gotten into an altercation with Johnson while
