TRAVELERS REST, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a child was injured after being hit by a utility vehicle in Travelers Rest on Friday.

SCHP reports being called to West Drive at 5:25 p.m.

The child was airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, according to troopers.

SCHP reports no one has been charged at this time.
