EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State’s defense did not allow a point as the Spartans cruised to a 23-6 win over Western Michigan on Friday night at Spartan Stadium.

MSU’s defense stifled the Western Michigan offense, and the Broncos were scoreless until Michigan State backup quarterback Alessio Milivojevic threw a pick-six late in the fourth quarter.

The Spartans led 21-0 at halftime but was shut out in the second half, though the Spartans defense put two points on the board with a safety.

Michigan State running back Makhi Frazier ran for 103 yards and a touchdown and was the engine of the Spartans’ offense for much of the night. Quarterback Aidan Chiles completed 17 of 23 passes for 155 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Omari Kelly impressed with seven catches for 75 yards, w
