Michael Jackson doesn't have a signature food to his name as shamelessly specific as the peanut-butter-and-banana "Elvis burger." But he did love French toast.
So says Joslyn Kelly, owner of J's Breakfast Club in Gary (who added that Tito Jackson has a special-recipe chicken sandwich), which as of this week will become J's Supper Club. (Hint: It now serves dinner) Kelly also runs "This is Gary," an organization dedicated to the city's history.
The newly christened Supper Club serendipitously coincides with this weekend's 2300 Jackson Street Block Party in Midtown Gary, not far from the Jackson family childhood home.
