St Georges and Union Jack flags tied to lamp posts around Weoley Castle.
This week, thousands of St George flags were hoisted in towns, cities and villages across the country, leading to a significant dispute with local councils when some were promptly removed.
Flags were taken down by several local authorities this week, including Tower Hamlets in East London and Birmingham, following an online movement named "Operation Raise the Colours" which saw campaigners attaching them.
On Monday, images emerged of St George's cross flags displayed on the A1206 on the Isle of Dogs in East London, while BirminghamLive reported that flags flown in parts of the city had been removed by the local council.
