WAIALUA, Hawaii (Island News) – Two men remain at large following an apparent terroristic threatening incident that occurred in the Waialua area on Saturday night.

According to police documents, the incident occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. when a 47-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by two other men.

The 47-year-old man stated that one of the men brandished a gun, fired a shot into the ground, and then hit him with the weapon.

The Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to Goodale Ave around 10:30 p.m. and treated the 47-year-old man for assault-like injuries. However, the man refused to be taken to the hospital.

The two unknown men then left the scene.

No arrests have been made at this time.
