FARGO — North Dakota State defender Cora Still buried the game-winning goal in the 48th minute to power a 1-0 victory against Minnesota State Moorhead on Sunday in nonconference women’s soccer at Dacotah Field.

Still buried a header off a corner kick from Maeva Lichtensteiger. The goal marked Still’s first collegiate goal.

The Bison outshot MSUM 38-1 in the contest. MSUM goalkeepers Rylee Truslow and Quinn Carter both had eight saves.

The contest was an exhibition for the Dragons, and counted as a regular-season game for NDSU.

NDSU and MSUM played in women's soccer for the first time since 2003. The Bison have won each of their past 11 matchups. MSUM’s lone win came in their first meeting in 1995.
