NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Travelers coming from, to and going through Connecticut are already busy beating the rush ahead of Labor Day Monday.
At Union Station in New Haven, some riders say the crowds have been relatively calm for the busy holiday weekend.
"School starts Tuesday so I don't wanna be home too late," Victor Ciesiun said.
Taking a trip to visit friends taking classes at the University of Connecticut Storrs campus, he says he had no choice but to take the train back to Philadelphia after a car accident; but he's not complaining yet.
"[New Haven Union Station] is like more organized than Philadelphia cause I take the train to Philadelphia sometimes and that's just terrible," Ciesiun said.
