LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - After a stormy stretch for portions of our weekend, drier weather is finally moving in for our Labor Day and will stick around for much of the week.
We’re still close enough to the piece of energy that is moving across East Texas and as long as we are the chance for a few spotty showers will exist.
Still, if you have any outdoor plans on this Labor Day, the forecast doesn’t look bad as we’ll keep a mixture of sun and clouds around at times.
High temperatures will be back into the upper 80s close to 90, with only a stray to spotty downpour around.
This trend will continue as we head through the middle half of the week as a weak front will continue to push south and east with time.
As the front does so, it will help to bring a drop in humidity as lows dip back
