While one may assume that these scams happen most to seniors, the BBB shared in a recent study that those in their 20s and early 30s are actually most at risk of falling prey to online scams.
As these schemes evolve through the use of AI, it's more important than ever to have a plan of action against them.
The BBB says that scams can use AI to capture realistic images and videos of celebrities and people you know in real life. These scams can even use the technology to replicate voices.
